Because I have two young boys that are totally into classic cars, I am creating a new body of work that is automotive related, the Cobra Daytona was an obvious choice for me to illustrate. The title is Leaf Blower because it conveys that opportunity of cutting loose on a back road some place. Where the only other objects on the road are the leafs from the trees.

Detective

In the future, technology allows for a prolonged life. Science has made it so that individuals can have some organs and body parts replaced. However, they have not come up with a way to stop the aging process to the skin. The story is set in the future, naturally, with this detective that has been prolonged. He doesn't quite fit in because he is old school. He shops on ebay to find old Hawaiin fabric so he can have his shirts taylored. Nobody messes with his shirts. Eventhough he is mocked because of his old school ways, he is still a butt-kicker. Kind of a Sam Spade meets Bladerunner meets Zombie. Going for a mix of campy (Hawaiian Shirt look) and action. This was one of the images that I developed for Machine Flesh.
